GOT spinoff: Westeros the Series, Watch Now

Westeros the series
September 3, 2017News, Voidbooks, game of thrones

What if Game of Thrones broke the shackles of era old times it is set in. What if the show dealt with lives and times of today. Aren’t you eager to know what it would be like when Baratheons take on the government impeaching the previous Targeryons. Dont you want to know what it would be like if White Walkers walked the roads of 2019. This all could be true, well at least, could be argued to be true.

On Tuesday night, after the seventh episode of Game of Thrones and the idea of waiting for another two years for next season sank in our heart, a Youtube video created sensation in the whole world with its trailer of Modern day game of thrones. The show is named Westeros-the series and is everything you’d imagine if you ever did of Game of thrones being set in today’s time.

The show takes on the times when Lannisters are in charge of the Government. It opens with Prime Minister Lannister addressing the citizens regarding the ‘rumours about the north’. Though, what actually are the rumours is not stated, but what other than the White walkers could it be when you talk about the North. The trailer covers all the major houses and characters of GoT recognisable to fans of the show, but only in the contempory times. crowds are illuminated by stadium lights, tower blocks rise and wind pylons turn, perched on the gates of Braavos.

Silver haired Targeryon snorts a mirror lined with cocaine, while a white werewolf follows a pair of nude stilettos. A crowd with flag of starks shouts victory slogans in front of a fire which could be a burning wight while in the background, mixed in a tensed music, probably Jon Snow says the long night is coming and the dead walk with it.

In the closing scene, a white walker, who could be the Night King wakes up from sleep opening his scary blue eyes and the scenes flashes back to Targeryon Square, Manhattan. Brace up, Ho and Behold.
